Pre-launch notice. Sailcorner is not yet trading. Listings, prices and reviews shown are sample data for demonstration. These terms describe how the service will operate and will be reviewed before launch.

1. Our role

Sailcorner is a marketplace. We publish yacht listings provided by independent charter operators and pass your booking requests to them. We do not own or operate the yachts, and we are not a party to your charter contract.

2. Listings and prices

Operators are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including specifications, photos, availability and prices. We review operators before they list and check listings for obvious errors, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is correct. Prices shown in a currency other than the listing currency are converted at indicative rates and are for guidance only.

3. Booking requests

A booking request asks an operator to confirm availability. It is not a binding booking. A charter contract is formed only when you accept the operator's confirmed offer, on the operator's terms. Payment, the security deposit and cancellation are governed by that contract. See our cancellation policy.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information in your requests, including the number of guests and sailing qualifications.
• Hold the licences required by the charter country, or book a skipper.
• Use the site lawfully and do not interfere with its operation or other users.

5. Liability

We provide the website with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for the performance of the charter, which is the operator's responsibility, or for losses that were not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
