APAMandatory
From the charter company: APA is a deposit which is used to cover all costs not included in the charter price (e.g. fuel, food, beverages, dockage, communication). Any APA that has not been used will be returned at the end of the charter. If expenses exceed the initial APA deposit, the difference will be charged additionally.
Crew (skipper & hostess/cook)Mandatory
From the charter company: S/Y NORTH STAR is crewed by a skipper and a hostess/cook. The skipper handles navigation and safety, while the hostess prepares breakfast and lunch, cleans common areas, refreshes cabins and bathrooms daily, and assists with sailing maneuvers. The fee includes 24% VAT. Provisions for crew must include an allowance of up to €30/day/crew for meals. Payment receipts to be provided by the crew. If the crew joins guests for meals ashore, the allowance does not apply. Crew gratuities are not included in the rate.

BASE - Sivota Bay on Lefkada Island Our yachts are based in Sivota Bay, nestled in the southern region of Lefkada Island. Positioned centrally in the Ionian Sea, Lefkada serves as an ideal launching point for your exploration. From here, you can effortlessly sail either south or north, adjusting your course according to wind and weather patterns. Sivota Bay itself is a charming and picturesque locale in the southern part of the island, offering a unique opportunity to start and end your sailing adventure in one of Greece's most idyllic setting. Situated approximately 15 nautical miles south of Marina Lefkas, you'll enjoy the advantage of sailing ahead of the majority of other charterers. This allows you to discover typically more crowded destinations, such as the enchanting village of Fiscardo on Kefalonia, as early as Saturday evening. Moreover, by returning to our base in a serene bay on Friday night instead of a bustling marina, you'll gain an extra day to savor the delights of being onboard and exploring the surrounding beauty. CREW S/Y DOLCIA is operated by a dedicated crew of two; A highly skilled skipper and a passionate hostess. All crew members undergo extensive training to provide a professional and seamless experience for guests. Skipper: The skipper holds an International Sailing License of the highest level, ensuring expert handling of the yacht in all situations. Beyond maneuvering the yacht safely and efficiently, the skipper takes great pride in maintaining the vessel, paying close attention to every detail to ensure it remains in top condition for guests. Hostess: Our hostesses are not only passionate about providing excellent service but also have a deep love for food and cooking. Each hostess undergoes comprehensive training with a local chef to refine their culinary skills, offering guests a memorable dining experience with local delicacies. In addition to preparing meals, the hostess is responsible for cleaning the common areas of the yacht daily, freshening up guest cabins and bathrooms, and assisting the skipper with yacht maneuvers. Together, the skipper and hostess ensure that every aspect of your journey aboard S/Y DOLCIA is managed with professionalism and attention to detail, from safe navigation to exceptional onboard service and cuisine.
